About

happyfunny is a design studio founded in 2010 by artist/designers Roberto Fantauzzi and Charlene Lyu. Born from a shared passion of character doodling and inventing funny nicknames (while studying Product Design at New York's Parsons The New School for Design), they set out to collaborate on a line of toys, gifts and accessories.

Beginning with a handful of simple yet endearing handmade plush toys, based on designs from their own sketchbooks, happyfunny develops properties with a strong message and magical storylines; influenced by technology and urban themes; and characterized by a happy chic style that is emotional, colorful, humorous, functional, and minimal.
